Has it really already gone by?

Thursday December 16th

We went out to Tuacahn to see the Live Nativity, ride the train, see the lights, & visit with Santa but it started raining that day & they cancelled all of that!  It didn't stop us from taking some pictures!

We even took pictures without Santa at his seat!  Where is Santa?

Guess who decided to show up?  Good 'ol Santa!  The kids got to sit on his lap & tell him what they wanted for Christmas!

Sunday December 19th

Wilson family Christmas party at the Howards.  We had dinner first which was our traditional soup dinner & then Susie & Rick had a gift to give Mom & Dad.  Cameras were rolling!  Any guesses?

Yep they are going to have a cinnamon bear!  Haha! Their ultrasound picture of the baby looked just like a cinnamon bear so thats what they gave them!  Some cinnamon bears & a framed picture.  Yeah for them!

Then it was on to the nativity.  We usually do it outside at the manger that Sherm made but since it was still raining & everything was muddy he set up in his shed & it was so cute!

With a real goat & sheep!  There were shepherds, wisemen, angels, Joseph, Mary, & of course baby Jesus - played by a doll, no babies this year.

Friday December 24th

Grandpa Moss's birthday started with a roast dinner & then presents.  Once that was done then it was full on Christmas mode!  We did all the usuals, reading of the nativity, Christmas stories, caroling, when a knock at the door came.  But nobody was there!  Just the bag of presents left by the elf!  Our kids got helmets!

Then it was time to get set up at home.

Stockings were filled!

Santa got a plate of cookies & milk & there was even carrots for the reindeer!

Saturday December 25th

CHRISTMAS!!  Woohoo!  I loved Christmas morning this year!  The kids slept in until around 8 & then we heard them running on the tile to our room & they jumped up on our bed shouting "Santa came, Santa came!" just like in all the shows!

Lainee got a special letter in her stocking from Santa!

Rigby LOVED his golf club set!

I wish my video camera had been working!  Lainee was SOOOO excited about her present!  She barely opened it before realizing what it was & then went running to her room, jumped on the bed & started freaking out!  She came back to the family room & continued to freak out on the floor kicking & screaming!  She even cried!  I had NO IDEA she was going to do that over a mp3!  It was great!

Olivia got one too but she didn't have the same reaction!  She ripped right through all of her presents without even really looking at them!  I told her to put her new clothes on that she just opened & she said "what new clothes?".  Same thing happened on Sunday!

Trent wanted only one thing - a memory foam mattress topper!  Well that just what he got along with some memory foam pillows!  And some clothes of course!

All dressed & ready to go to G & G Moss for breakfast.

Had to do a silly picture!

The girls all got boots that are pretty much the same!

My handsome boys!  Rigby loves his light saber!

The kids got to open another present from G & G Moss.  Lainee got a secret diary & she played with it the whole day!

Olivia got Toss Across & it was a big hit!

Rigby got a RC truck!  3 for 3 on the presents!

Then it was time for the talent show.  Rigby did his English accent with "Charlie you bit me!  And it really hurt!"  It was a hillarious!

Olivia played a Christmas song.

Love the smile on her face!

Lainee played Silent Night.

She is a really good little piano player!

Sunday December 26th

That was they day for our Moss family party.  I got a picture of the kids with the presents they made before we wrapped them.

Lainee got a little wrapped notepad, crayon, pen holder from Jacob.

Look familiar?  Rigby got a dinosaur pillow from Lainee!  He didn't even know she had him!  He was THRILLED!

Olivia got a fairy skirt, wand & wings from Kenzie.

I threw this picture in because it was one of very few that had me in it!  Plus you can see Lainee's present again.

Trent got a bean bag/lovesac from Jeff.

And I got a watch from Chanieca!  Never mind my crazy face!  I really like the watch!
Another great Christmas season!

Lainee's Christmas Play 12/15/10

Little Valley 3rd grade presents
The Jingle Bell Jukebox

Lainee is in the middle with a pony & pink scarf in her hair with her arm extended!

The kids watching very intently.

Lainee's turn up on stage.

"Whats left? Grandma got ran over by a reindeer?" & "Well don't hold us in suspense, give us a hint!"  Those were her lines & she did them perfectly, loud & clear.  The boy next to her is Gabe & he is in our Primary class & lives just a couple house up from us.

Couldn't resist this smile!

This picture is of Lainee & her "crush".  He is in the white shirt, no hat.  He also has a crush on her!

Curtis!  Looks like a bad boy here but he really is a good kid!

Lainee would of fit right into the 50's!  She was a 50's student in the play.

Grandma & Grandpa Moss came with Aunt Jana to watch the play.  Lainee absolutely loved that they came & LOVES her Aunt Jana.  She also had the skirt for Lainee to use!  Thanks Jana!

We got home & made some hot chocolate when the doorbell rang.  This is what we opened up to!  They were some boys who wanted to spread some Christmas cheer!  We invited them in for hot chocolate & caramels after they played us a few songs!  It was so fun!  A great way to end the night!

Birthday Girl! 12/12/10

Sunday morning I got to wake up to presents in bed!  My cute family got me a cute gray knit hat & a brand spankin new camera!  12x optical zoom, HD movie, 12.1 megapixels, & it even has GPS!  All in one!  So know on to figuring the darn thing out!

So these are the first pictures taken with the new camera.  My kids are great posers!

We got invited to a birthday dinner at the Grandma Moss' house.  So on the way over I thought lets get a car ride picture!  Everyone smile!  Go figure that they all hid except for me & Rigby!  Which is a darling picture of him!

I made my YUMMY turtle cake for my birthday cake & we took it over for dessert.

Blow those candles out!  Trent grouped 3 together & 4 together to make 34!  Nice & easy!  No smoke alarms this year!

Then we took the left over cake & headed to Grandma Wilson's house - its our usual Sunday schedule anyways!  Janet got a hold of the new camera & took a ton of pictures so here is a few of them!

Since she did that we will start with her self portrait!  You're welcome Janet!

I was glad she was in the kitchen because then you can see my parents kitchen makeover that is almost done!  Beautiful cabinets that Doug built with granite counter tops.  Just needs a few more things & it will be done!

She also got Keli with baby on board & birthday girl.

My mother gave me this mirror!  I LOVE IT!  I saw it in her basement & asked what she was doing with it & low & behold she gave it to me!  She said she didn't even like it! She was just going to hang it up somewhere but never did!  Hooray for me!  Now to get it painted & hung at my house!

I included this picture because you can see my new camera in it!  Also I took the picture from the ground so that the mirror wouldn't reflect my messy room!

Now for a little fun with Trent!  Always be the furthest one away from the camera!  It is much more flattering than the close up!  He had some others but I'm going to spare you of that!

So this is what 34 looks like!
Happy Birthday to me!

(Oh I also may have bought myself that gorgeous necklace as a bday present!)
