Moss Family Vacation 2011

This years trip way to Midway. G & G Moss rented a cabin/house that we all stayed in together.  It was up in the hills & had a beautiful of the valley (which I totally forgot to take a picture of!).  It started on Saturday July 9th with most of us arriving that afternoon & that night we all pooled together the food we had and had a delicious dinner!

Next day being Sunday we went to church & ended up in Marvin J Ashton's son's (he is the bishop)singles ward!  It was the most interesting sacrament meeting I have ever been to!  Before it started he asked if anyone had a burning desire to sing a solo.  So Shawn lifted Kelsy's arm for her & she & Kenzie ended up singing a beautiful duet to "I Stand All Amazed".  After they closed the meeting the had the announcements, because everyone arrives late to singles wards, & it ended with the Bishop calling one of the guys an idiot!  Needless to say he is a lot like his dad!

After church Caysen showed the kids how to make flower pens & then Judy had us doing "commercials" for funny products.  Olivia's group was doing "The Home teacher Hotline".  She came in with the phone saying "The home teacher hotline" when Tamara & Brayden couldn't decide who would call & do the appointments on the last day of the month.  

Rigby's group was doing some service that sends your Dear John letters to your missionaries for you. Rigby's line was "You, me, let's go!" and pointing to her then himself.  It was hilarious!

Lainee's group was a product that turned leftovers into delicious meals & Lainee delivered her line "Daddy I don't want leftovers!" perfectly.

My group had the "Modesty Measurer".  Caysen & Jake tried to leave the house immodestly but my alarm was set off letting me know they were leaving immodestly. (hence the reason he is putting back on his shirt!)

Trent got to put on his own show & called it "Bishop's Butter".  He would buy it from a sketchy person (Davey) & then go see his Bishop (Dave) & get whatever he needed by using the butter!  It was really funny!

Oh we also had a cookie contest which I won!  I looked up 'best cookie recipe' & got peanut butter cup cookies & sure enough it was the best!

4th of July Weekend

We went out to our Wilson cabin for a nice weekend.  John from Skywest & his family came with us & it was a lot of fun!

Mom & Dad were there for part of it with Ana & Jose which Rigby was happy to have Jose there to play with.  We had to take them down for a swim & the slide of course!

This was a big weekend for Rigby!  He went down the slide about 30 times! & spent 4 hours swimming!

Lainee had to use the goggles to keep the splashes out!

Olivia decided to test it out as well! Glad I had a camera!

Trent was so fast that I almost didn't get a picture!

And apparently I was too fast because my picture was after I already made it to the water!

One of the days we went over to Bryce Canyon & spent the day there.

Had to get a picture infront of "Moss"y Cave!

And here is the actual cave! It has constant dripping thus the moss!

There was also this beautiful waterfall!

On our way home from the cabin we stopped at one more hike! Cascade Falls on Cedar Mtn. We live in such beautfiul country!

That night we went over to G & G Moss's house for a bbq.  The kids got all decked out for the occasion! This picture cracks me up! Look at Brayden in the door window! And I love my tough little man in his muscle shirt but wearing a headband & necklace! Only Rigby could get away with that!

Lainee made her own shirt this year & did a great job!

Fathers Day Weekend!

The weekend started us off camping up at Enterprise Reservior.  Friday night Trent took Rigby out on Grandpa's boat & he caught the only 2 fish of the night! Then we caught 3 more on Saturday. I took pictures with my phone but I can't get them to load. It was a lot of fun & the kids love camping & climbing there.

Then on Fathers Day after church, Rigby had Trent search for his present by playing hot & cold.

Rigby was laughing so hard the whole time that he could barely say hot or cold!

Of course Trent was a great sport & played it well!

Rigby had it hidden in his closet - the ha was just a bonus that was in there too!

Olivia did the same game with her present & guess where  it ended? Yep in her closet!

The kids made these trophies for the best dad ever!

They had taffies & a magnet with their pictures in them.

Lainee also made some yummy candy popcorn at activity days for Fathers Day.

We got Trent a new shirt,

a new belt,

And a new grill! You may remember that we got him a grill for his birthday but we had to return that one because it didn't work right so here goes attempt #2!
