May 14, 2011

The day started out with a wedding!
Megan & Kenny got married!
They had a beautiful breakfast followed by the sealing in the temple.

The cousins waiting outside the temple.

And some of the boy cousins.

Have to have a family picture taken when dressed up & at the temple!

Then it was onto the girls Spring Dance Recital!

Olivia, Tallie, Lainee & Tailer
Great job girls!

Then we hurried back to the wedding reception where the kids got their own flowers.

It was a PARTAY!!
It really was the perfect day! Everything was beautiful & the dancing was so fun!

I LOVE that my girls got out on the dance floor to dance! The boys didn't want much to do with that! I got one dance in with both my boys but that was it!

It was a fun day!

3 in 1: Tee ball, Mothers Day, & Preschool Graduation!

Tee ball
I finally remembered to pull out my camera at Rigby's game!
I love his expression in this picture!

He did actually hit the ball but I didn't catch it! I liked the action picture even if he didn't hit it!

How about this shot? Once one of the boys did it then they all started doing it!

Trent got roped into coaching after the season started. He is a good coach!

Mothers Day
Me & my kids with the gifts they gave me. Lainee made me a puzzle card that said 'I love you to pieces' when you put it together & at Activity Days they made a frame for a picture taken at the temple activity with the moms & after church she made me cookies! The big one was shaped like a heart. Olivia also made me a card with a mosaic heart magnet with her picture on it & Rigby got me a crayon "frame" with his picture on it along with a card that asked questions like "What does your mom always say?" His answer: No!
I must be a mean mom! And then in another color of pen, yes & I love you, were added to the answer!

The whole family got me roses, a towel lounge chair cover, card & a skirt that got traded for a new top!

They also made me brunch! We tried out a new recipe for Bananas Foster French Toast & it was good!

Preschool Graduation
We all went down to the Cox Park & the kids got to play & play.

They got bubbles & one of the dads was teasing them that they couldn't get him with the bubbles through the fence.

Rigby & Luis

Swinging high!

Then they had a little program with songs & poems that they have learned.

We had to end it with the classic freeze dance with the parents!

Then the diploma!

Hug from his favorite teacher!

And of course we had to eat lunch!

What a fun year & no 2 better teachers for any child to have!

My baby is going to kindergarten!

Bonnie's Hair Salon

Who knew a nice Sunday evening would turn into a spontaneous hair cutting session!  We went over to my Mom's house for a visit & she requested that I cut her hair!  Now keep in mind, I DO NOT know how to cut hair!  I am not trained, I just help with my boys haircuts & that is my extensive knowledge of hair cutting!  So once I got my mom's hair done then I had others ask as well!

Cute little Jeric wanted his cut, then Tallie got a trim, and then it was Coleman's turn.

Olivia has been asking for a long time to get her hair cut because she hates having her hair brushed because it hurt her so bad - soft head.  So I had asked her a few times if she wanted her hair cut too but she said no.  But then she braved up & said yes!

Now is when I had to turn up my bravery!  I really don't know how to cut hair especially when I chop off 5 inches (or more)!  Without further ado...

I did the pony chop!  It gave it a good start to the a-line style I was hoping for! (sorry to all hairstylist for my improper skills!)

The back view of my mom & Olivia's haircuts.  Not the best but it'll do!

Me & my clientele!
