A first last!

My baby has started his first day of kindergarten!  He was SOOO excited! He woke up when I got home from my run this morning at 6:40 & went to get dressed for school! I convinced him not to yet & cuddle with me instead.  When I was getting the girls all ready this morning, he went & got himself fully dressed including his backpack & let me know he was ready for school.

Unfortunately he had to wait until 12:30 to leave for school! He watched that clock & as soon as it hit 12:30 he yelled out YES! & headed out to the car!

I love that face!

His teacher is Mrs. Guynn & he was so excited to get to class!

Found his seat!

And got coloring! With a lot of determination on his face!

I can't believe the time has finally come that all my kids are in school! I sure love my kids & love that they love school! It's going to be a good year!

First Day of School 8/15/11

Holy cow!  Where did the summer go?!
First day of school already!

Olivia started 2nd grade with Mrs. Ivey.

Lainee started 4th grade with Mrs. Redfearn.

Cute cute!

Kindergarten starts next week so pictures of my baby starting school to come next week. I hope I remember to take pictures!

End of summer!

My kids are getting so brave! Jumping in from the side of the pool! Oh wait, they still have on life jackets! Not THAT brave! haha!
I love how synchronized this shot turned out! Both got their noses plugged!

Some good air!

Lainee learned to dive without holding her nose!

 Another awesome jump!

AND...
top braces! The doctor decided to go ahead & put on braces on her top teeth too! It is amazing how quickly they are straightening out already! She is going to look good! 7 years old & has braces! And she loves them!

Wilson Family Reunion/Jully 24th weekend

The highlight of the weekend was the horses!  The guys who run their cattle on the ranch let us ride their horses!  The kids have wanted to do that for a long time!

We stayed in the tent trailer & found the perfect spot!

That weekend Rigby swam across the pond & back!  And he walked from the trailer to the cabin in the dark by himself!!  Two big break throughs!
We always love when we get to go to the cabin & now summer is over & school starts tomorrow!!

I forgot to mention that I got to go out to Monterey to help Susie & Rick move back to Utah!  I flew out Wednesday July 20th & we spent the day packing & loading the truck & the next morning we started the drive back to Utah!  It was long but when you get to sit next to this cute baby its totally worth it!
Cute little McCoy!

I've seen the windmills from a distance but this time we got to drive right thorugh all of them.  Sue was sleeping & I was driving their car & Rick & his dad were in the moving truck in front of us.

Friday 7/15/11

(This post actually begins down at Moss Family Vacation 2011 if you want to start at the beginning!)

We spent another day at the lake but with seadoos this time.  Lainee wakeboarded & the rest of us just went for rides on it.

Right before I took this picture Rigby had his arms up behind his head kickin back relaxin.

Rigby trying to push out the big log.

The logs were the big hit at the lake again!

That night Grandpa Moss gave a family home evening on testimonies & let the kids make their own testimony gloves. It was a neat way to end the week together.
We all headed home on Saturday & just like that it was over!  It was a fun trip & it went by very fast!

Thursday 7/14/11

Before starting our hike at Ensign Peak, Dave gave us a little history lesson on the importance of this peak.

An Ensign to the world!

And it was windy up on top!

Hiking back down, Rigby found a round rock that he rolled,

and rolled,

got it out of the bushes when it rolled off the trail,

and rolled it some more!

He even rolled it down this waterfall thing.  You can see it at the bottom step!

After the hike we went to the Gateway & saw Cars 2 & then met back up with the family for dinner at an Italian restaurant - thanks mom & dad!

Wednesday 7/13/11

We started off Wednesday with a hike, Stewart Cascades, which was on the back side of Timpanogas. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!
I loved this hike! It was a 2 mile hike to the falls & of course 2 back. It was through dense forests & so green!

These falls were above the big one that we hiked to, they were all over!

The last bit of snow melting & creating the falls.

The waterfall is about twice as long as you can see in this picture.  We are sitting on a cliff edge & you could feel the mist blowing off of the waterfall, especially when you go down to the bottom!

After bowling we went down for lunch & bowling!

Rigby

He bowled a strike & ran back to the screen to see it!  His face was the best!  He was so excited!

He may have also beaten us!!
