1st Day of Preschool 8/25/10

Wednesday started Rigby's school career! That's right preschool is now in session! Which means that I will now have 3 full hours 4 times a week to MYSELF!!
So Rigby's class starts at 8, which is pretty early for our family, but Rigby has been SO excited so he has been waking up really early & ready to go.

His sweet new backpack.

I just love the excitement on his cute little face!
He went out to the car & waited there until Dad was ready to take him!
The great part is that the preschool is close to Trent's work so he takes him to school! He even picks him up at lunch when he's done!
Now who wouldn't be excited to go to class if you had the best teacher ever! GRANDMA!!!

When he got home after the first day he crashed on the couch & had a long nap! That early morning & all the fun of the first day really wore him out!

DMB Take Two 8/17/10

So a while back we had tickets to the Dave Matthews Band concert in SLC. Days before the show, it got cancelled. That was the second year in a row for them to cancel in SLC
SoOoOo...
they put on a FREE concert!
They sent us some tickets & we were off!

We flew to SLC & Julie & her cute kids picked us up at the airport.
We stopped by Seth's work to pick him up & the kids enjoyed a break on the lawn & rocks.
We then went to dinner at the Red Iguana. We got there before 6 & it was packed! We waited outside for a half hour!

We got to the concert just as DMB was starting.

The concert was at the outdoor Usana Amphitheater & Dave really rocked the stage!

It was a lot of fun & now I can forgive DMB for cancelling before!

First Day of School! August 11, 2010

Can you believe its already here?!!! Crazy how fast the summer went!

Lainee had her outfit picked out for a while now, she has been READY & waiting for school to start! She has a new teacher Mrs. Neilsen & she is so excited!

My big 3rd grader!

The girls all ready to go!

Olivia also has a new teacher Mrs. Thomas & is very excited for her too! Liv is a bit nervous about being there all day & not knowing where to go but she has a great sister to help her out!

My 1st grader!

Have a great first day of school!

24th of July

Every 24th of July is our R & C Wilson reunion but this year the J & L Wilson reunion overlapped on the same weekend. That fine, just a couple hundred more people to share the canyon with!

On the way there we got this beautiful sunset.

As always, there's always a lot of swimming! We brought out the water trampoline, paddle boats, & even a floating dock!

My boys! So handsome!

Lainee swimming with Dalton & Josh.

Miss Olivia

Rigby was being brave & jumping off the floating dock.

And back up onto the dock!

We also did some fishing. Isn't Rigby so cute?! (Lainee took this picture! Didn't she do good?!)

We also went into Panguitch for their parade (sorry no pictures!), ran a 5k with Lainee, & did some eating!

On the way home we stopped in Pinto to water the lawn & trees.
And we found
THIS...

YUCK! Needless to say, the thing is dead! No way I'm letting that thing be any where near my kids! (sorry peta people!!) But it was a cool picture with its tongue sticking out!

Wilson, Halpin,y Sanchezes 7/31/2010

So 12 years ago my mission companion, Hermana Halpin & I taught the Sanchez family the discussions & were able to see them baptized. Angela, the oldest daughter had been previously baptised & was an incredible example for her family.
One year later they were sealed for time & eternity in the Ecuador temple! My companion was lucky enough to get to attend the sealing with her parents at the end of her mission.
The 2 oldest daughters ended up coming to Utah to go to school at BYU & met & fell in love with Americans. Angela married Elder (Dave) Adamson from my mission - no nothing happened during his mission! They now live in New Jersey. Dave is in the Air Force & flies planes. He was deployed right after their second baby was born so Coralia flew up from Ecuador to help her out.
Of course she couldn't come to states without seeing both of her daughters so she & Angela with her kids flew out to Utah to see Cora.
Cora & her husband, Gabe, just moved back to Provo, thus prompting a reunion.
They had always still been in contact with Amie but not me so for me it was the first time to see them after the mission. I flew up to SLC & my sister Julie picked me up from the airport. We did a little shopping & then she took me to Amie's house.
It was so great to see them again! It was amazing! Coralia hadn't changed a bit! Of course Angela & Cora were all grown up now! But Fernando, Paco, & Belen weren't able to come. So I will have to go see then in Ecuador! Sooner than later hopefully!

Cora is so photogenic! In fact, she should be a model because she does so well at posing! I won't post the other pictures of her because she told me not to but this picture is beautiful so sorry Cora!
We happened to plan it on Kamdyn's birthday & she was nice enough to share it with us!
Emerie, Bailey, & Kamdyn.

Angela's sweet little boy Matthew. He is a doll & I love his little face in this picture!
So until I make it down to Ecuador, this post will have to do! I am so grateful to have a part in the life of this family! They are incredible! Fernando is the Bishop of their ward right now! I can't wait to see the rest of the family!
