Running is SO overrated!

So I just started running last Friday with Karin Blunk. We did 2 miles with a bathroom break between miles - the break being for me not Karin! And after yesterdays run I got a blister! The run was hard & not enjoyable so why am I doing this? Because I love my husband & want to support him! He is doing the marathon this year & next month he is doing the Bryce Canyon half marathon SOOO I am signing up to do the ... 5K! Look at me getting all active! Hopefully by posting this I will actually follow through!

i really do hate running too. it's like torture, especially without my music. you're good to start out with two miles, it took me two months to get up to that. I was up to four but then broke my toe, so i am at about 2.5 miles right now. Just being lazy and not pushing myself. Good luck with your running, maybe you will motivate me again! And good for trent! Brad keeps saying he wants to do something, but hasn't taken the plunge yet!

First, I LOVE that you called her Karin Blunck! Does she call you Bonnie Wilson? It's hard to let names go when you've known people soooo long! Second, I LOOOOOVE that you're running with my sister! I ran with her a couple of weeks ago and she was saying she needed someone to run with! Good choice on her part! Even though you're hating it right now, some day maybe it will be something you LOVE especially when it gets you away from the kids for a bit and gives you something you do just for you! I love running with friends, too! Good luck to you guys and to Trent for the loooong training ahead of him!

GOOO BONNIE!

Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be addicted. The 5K sounds so fun! A marathon on the other hand...is just plain crazy. :) Austin and Dayna are running it too so we'll be there to cheer them on. Tell Trent he's already got a cheering squad forming!

I'm proud of you! Hang in there!

Yay, I have a blog now so I can leave comments on yours! Thanks for giving me a reason to get up to run. Don't quit on me when you're done with your 5K! You're doing so great!!
(p.s. This morning was a close call for me!)
